I love chippy and rusty. There is something about it that speaks of days gone by, past stories and history . . . that I wish I knew.
I bought this chippy chandelier again from Springfield . . . where surprisingly many of the things in my home came from.
It hangs right outside my screened porch every summer where I can enjoy it’s delicate loveliness and grace.
It’s a little wopperjawed and missing parts . . . but aren’t we all at this age?
It has a beauty, grace, and charm that only comes with age and years of living. I too, would like to age as beautifully as this vintage chandy.
With God’s grace, I pray to become a vessel that reveals His goodness and faithfulness in my life.

I love this! And I love the word “wopperjawed”! I’m going to try to get that into conversation this week!

It’s an old word you don’t hear much anymore, and maybe never in England. I’m always learning new words from my English friends. I just learned this morning what “chuffed” means, but if I used it in a sentence here, no one would know what I meant.
